Parade Entries Online Application

Since the very first Winnipeg Eaton's Santa Claus Parade in 1909, the annual seasonal Parade has been an integral part of family life in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. The Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade attracts over 60,000 people to downtown Winnipeg to watch the Parade and participate in the affiliated events.

Please ensure you complete the Application Form, Float Details Form and read and sign the Rules & Regulations Form.

All applications will be reviewed by the parade selection committee.


Successful applicants will be announced on Tuesday, July 7, 2015





  • Payment is required with your entry. All payments must be received prior to Parade day unless arrangements have been made with the Parade Manager. Please make cheques payable to Winnipeg Parade Committee and mail it to: Santa Claus Parade, P.O. Box 61056, Grant Park, Winnipeg, MB, R3M 3X8
  • A 10% cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel your entry up to 21 days before the Parade. After the 21 days there is no refund.
  • For information regarding distribution of promotional materials please review the Rules and Regulations located on the website
  • Please note that your entire float (including tow vehicle) must be decorated and lit.
  • Special Judging Consideration will be given to entries reflecting the Magic of the Season Parade theme.
  • All Parade entries must be able to travel at a minimum of 15 km/hr.
  • Please review the Rules and Regulations and Float Details forms. Both of these forms must be completed and submitted along with this Parade Entry Registration form.

Application Details

  • Complete and return the Parade Entry Registration Form, Float Details Form and signed copy of the Rules and Regulations along with your float entry payment. NOTE: cheques will only be cashed once your entry is accepted.
  • Parade Entry Registration Forms, Float Entry Form and signed Rules and Regulations should be sent to: Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade, PO Box 61056, Grant Park, Winnipeg MB R3M 3X8 or faxed to (204) 219-4443.
  • Attach a photo or illustration of your entry. Bands must also send an audition CD or video.
  • Entry acceptance is at the sole discretion of the Winnipeg Parade Committee. All decisions are final.
  • Proof of insurance $2 million liability naming the Winnipeg Parade Committee, City of Winnipeg, Manitoba Hydro, and Ready Event Management as additional named-insured.
  • Cheques should be made payable to: Winnipeg Parade Committee.
